Thor returns to Asgard, as he tries to restore order within the nine realms. His brother is locked away in prison for his crimes against humanity and the Asgardians. Meanwhile, a dark force emerges that forces Thor to forge an alliance with his brother, Loki, to combat a threat that could potentially destroy the balance of the universe as we may know it.

In a slight twist to the original fairy tale, Snow White escapes from the castle, after being imprisoned by her evil step mother. The queen orders a huntsman to bring her back, so she can kill her. However, the Huntsman has a change of heart, and decides to become a mentor to Snow White, as she leads a rebellion against the queen's tyranny.

The Norse god of mischief, Loki, leads a mysterious army to Earth to enslave the human race. Now, the top secret government agency known as SHIELD must put into action the "Avengers Initiative" to bring together Earth's mightiest heroes to stop this threat from enslaving humanity.
