Alligator Snapping turtles are very unique creatures. They have one relative the common snapping turtle. The Alligator snapping turtle gets much larger than their cousins. Alligator snapping turtles are threatened and may not be captured from the wild. In most states it is illegal to own one.

Snoring sounds can be noisy. Usually this is because something is obstructing the air flow as it passes through the nose and the mouth’s back. In fact, that area is a collapsible section where the upper part of the throat and tongue meet with the uvula and the soft part of the palate.

All animals and plants have to some extent evolved some peculiar abilities to meet their needs and deal with their environment in order to survive. Some have developed a particular skin colouring or other camouflage, some have developed defence mechanisms such as venom or horns, others display a ferocity not comensurate with their actual ability to inflict a wound. Some animals have also developped abilities and talents that are just plain hilarious and the Okapi of Congo is one such animal.
