Mr. Incredible (A.K.A. Bob Parr), and his wife Helen (A.K.A. Elastigirl), are the world's greatest famous crime-fighting superheroes in Metroville. Always saving lives and battling evil on a daily basis. But fifteen years later, they have been forced to adopt civilian identities and retreat to the suburbs where they have no choice but to retire of being a superhero and force to live a "normal life" with their three children Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack (who were secretly born with superpowers).

Batman had a large rogue’s gallery of villains since his debut in 1939 that continually returned to menace him. The Joker, the Riddler, Ra’s al Ghul and the Penguin were among the most famous and dangerous. One villain in particular stood out from the others, however: Selina Kyle, a.k.a. the Catwoman. She was as cunning and malevolent as any of Batman’s enemies, but she was also a beautiful, alluring woman with a soft spot in her heart for the Caped Crusader.

Like the Doc Savage books, I read every copy of The Shadow I could get my hands on when I was a kid.
And I was lucky enough that our local AM radio station used to play the old Shadow radio programs on Wednesday nights, (along with the Green Hornet and The Lone Ranger) and I got to hear them the way they were meant to be heard, over a scratchy radio speaker in a dimly lit room, (sometimes, they even left in the old commercials).
"Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows! HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!"
