Trying to prove politics and religion can peacefully coexist, Texas Governor Rick Perry’s “National Day of Prayer and Fasting” is fast approaching, but not without glaring hypocrisies showing their godless heads.

A jar full of numbers, shaken and stirred
Is all that they are, all that they were
Captive and blinded, yet seldom disturbed

Ushered and gathered, forever interned
Tethered and tarnished, by toil they are bent
Hedged close together, like pigs in a pen

I’ve hated Sarah Palin since John McCain made the unwise, not to mention ridiculously stupid decision of picking her as his running mate in the 2008 presidential election. I’ve written several articles about her, including one about her farcical, wisely canceled by TLC show, Sarah Palin’s Alaska. The woman spews some of the most ignorant, unbelievable crap I have ever heard from a politician in my life - although Michele Bachmann is now a close second.
