Located at Charlwood, just outside Gatwick Airport, the Gatwick Aviation Mseum has a collection of twenty aircraft. This was founded by Peter Vallance in 1987 and now has twenty aircraft, and indoor displays including engines, instruments and model aeroplanes.
The aircraft are all being restored and the Museum has a number of atractions, including one of two running Avro Shackleton MK3's world wide. Other aircraft include a Harrier jumpjet, Lightning, Canberra, a Buccaneer and more. In the engine room, Rolls Royce engines including Avons, Conways and Bristol Olympus can be viewed.
