Next year should prove to quite an interesting year for animated feature. First, we have "Spongebob Squarepants" returning to the big screen, along with Charles M. Schultz's peanut gang. Plus, we have the long anticipated "Minions" spin off coming out next year as well; along with various other animated comedies and adventures that I'm sure audiences will enjoy.

Based on a novel by Roger S. Baum entitled "Dorothy of Oz." The film takes place immediately after the events of the first 1939 film. Dorothy has returned to Kansas only to find that her entire hometown has been destroyed by the same tornado that teleported her to Oz, to begin with. Meanwhile in Oz, several years have passed, and an evil Jester has taken over the Emerald City. In one last attempt to save Oz, scarecrow uses his rainbow machine to summon back it's greatest champion...Dorothy Gale from Kansas.

After being snubbed to attend a party, the evil fairy Maleficent casts a curse upon the princess, to where she will fall into a deep slumber on her 16th birthday, and will never awaken again. However, the spell can be broken only by true love's kiss. Although the film is a bit dated by today's standards, it's still a fairly enjoyable movie for what it happens to be.
