The Wavy Line Key on My PC Keyboard - What Does it Do?You have seen this button on your keyboard before. On my Microsoft keyboard that wavy line is in the upper left corner, right next to the number one key.
You probably do not give this wavy, squiggle of a line much thought but it actually has a purpose. This line is called a tilde and, believe it or not, it actually has multiple functions that span a couple of different disciplines. It is actually, sorta, interesting stuff!
