OK. In this little piece I’m going to cut to the chase. This isn’t about mincing words or trying to sound objective — this is about me sharing what I really think are the five factoids that the U.S. government would never tell you or me about UFOs no matter how obvious they become.

There is a strong sentiment among some in the UFO community that believe alleged extraterrestrials are part of some benign galactic federation that have been visiting earth for centuries, charged with improving and keeping an eye out for mankind.

As recent as World War II there were reports of UFOs, dubbed “Foo Fighters” keeping tabs on Ally and German fighter planes and bombers.

The late Col. Philip Corso, who served as a liaison aide of President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s National Security Council, said he examined the extraterrestrials when they were first shipped from their Roswell, New Mexico to Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Columbus, Ohio after their craft crashed in 1947.
