Bookmark and Share Rudolf Hess. Mad, Bad? Friend or Foe?

I know that a lot of you out there are probably not too familiar with or indeed interested in Hitler’s deputy and I suspect I probably would have felt exactly the same if it hadn’t been for my father’s “connection”.

Hitler was born in Austria. His father was an alcoholic and beaten his terrible. He went to Vienna to study art but was told he had no exceptional talents. He joined the Bavaria army and fought in the First Wold War on the front. He became gassed but while the other soldiers were treated the doctor diagnosed him as untreatable and sent him the a mental hospital. He stayed there for a month. When he became the Fuehrer he had three people killed who knew about it.
