Recently a story that Flattr was one of the very few sites that still accepted donations to wikileaks made the media. However even on slashdot, a site that proudly displays the motto "news for nerds, stuff that matters," many people haven't heard of flattr. In this article I explain what flattr is, why people should know about it, how to make money with it, and how to integrate it with any website. I give code that can be directly copied to any website and another code that can be copied into the blogger template.

The Swiss Federal Attorney General has opened a formal investigation into PostFinance in regard to its handling of the case Julian Assange. This moved followed a formal complaint by Swiss political party Piratenpartei (Pirate Party).

So far, US officials have done what they do best: they disseminated propaganda. The propaganda was so successful that Wikileaks became a worldwide phenomenon. But there are more things the intelligentsia of US politics can do wrong.
