It was a cold, blustery day in January and my shift at work had finally ended. It was dark in the parking lot. When I finally got to my car, I got in and started it up. I had to get back out to get the frost and snow off of my windshield. That's when I noticed him. He was sitting there, not too far away in his pickup. He startled me and I felt a tingly sensation down my spine. It wasn't from the cold.

Most of the time when you impress someone with the wonder that is you, it is harmless. You may end up with a great new friend, lover, or both! The problem arises if you attract that small portion of the population, generally called stalkers, who take their fascination with you to a dangerous level. Being informed of what to look for, actions to take, and coping skills are important for everyone to know. Even if you are not currently a victim, having this knowledge could protect you from future possibilities.
