Do your homework - If you are moving to a new community, research the area extensively. Pay close attention to school districts, local amenities, park accommodations, parking issues, and neighborhood cleanliness. Be sure to drive around the community to see if easy access to grocery stores, a post office, dry cleaners, shopping, and restaurants are available. Most importantly, get a feel for the people and homes in the neighborhood. Remember, your goal is to shoot for a real estate property that is not the most extravagant nor the most impoverished in the neighborhood.
