This seventh chapter of "Why Today's Mainstream Music Sucks" takes a look at the fallen art-form known as the music video and what has changed in recent years. The days of creative mini movies, artful set designs, and unique choreography has been replaced by product placement and laziness.

Ace music producer Mase scored a surprise hit with the single "We Miss You". It figured prominently on hip hop radios' indie charts all across the USA. It was an unexpected hit. Mase even just did a video clip with a montage of his personal photos and posted it on YouTube. This 'unofficial' music video garnered feedbacks from viewers who clamored for an official video for this song. Mase is set to release the video for this song along with new singles to be launched on January 2011.
