The gaming world as we know it is about to change yet again. Epic Games showcased the new Unreal 4 game engine which can be used to develop photo realistic games. This happened at the GDC 2013 and you can see how the engine improved.

The U4 engine can render all sorts of lens flares, reflections and tons of particles all in real time. The goal of this engine improvement is to bring the gaming graphics to the same level as the most powerful graphics cards available today, like the NVIDIA GTX series.

You might think that in terms of gaming PCs, the more you spend the more performance you get. While this might be true up to a certain price, most ultra-gaming systems present in the market today are what some might call overkill.
