How can I, as a home gardener, help the bees? I'm wondering if there are any flowers in particular I should plant to help the bees out. That is a good place to start, because you can really be bee friendly.
As a home gardener, you can do some small, yet important steps to help bees. Fill your garden with plants tha bees like - plants and trees that are rich in pollen. Besides, bees prefer flowers in blue, yellow and blue, purple colors. That is what bees see best and are attracted to.
