Following the demise of Steven Arnold last week, everything was cranked up a gear as Torvill and Dean announced a bit of a sting in the tail for this week’s competition.

Last week, with a combination of the judge’s scores and public votes, actor Steven Arnold and England cricketer Dominic Cork found themselves in the bottom two and had to compete against each other in the skate off. Unfortunately Steven wasn’t very good on his blades so it was inevitable that Dom would survive for a further week and the panel would send Steven home.

Look at those dancing eyes, every moment eyelids open to a different size, those eyeballs implying to a different angle and with different energy level of emotion flow.

That makes heartbeat of every one around goes thumping high.

We on earth dance in different parts of it in different ways but with the same human spirit so we have different forms of it.

So the fun begins! Last Sunday saw the first show of the new series. Sixteen celebrities took their first tentative steps onto the ice.

This year Dancing on Ice had sixteen celebrities lined up but, for the first time since the programme began, they split the celebs into two groups of eight.
