US/Mexico Canal Zone? Is it Possible to build a canal along the US - Mexico border?
Saw this interesting question posed on Yahoo Answers. "Would it be possible to dig a canal through the US/Mexico border from the Pacific to the Gulf of Mexico?" Well, that surely would fix the whole border problem, wouldn't it? I figure a canal would have walls on both sides with water in between..kind of like a moat. Staggering to think of how long it would take and how much it would cost! A project of that magnitude would surely create a lot of jobs, though...A LOT!
