The pharaoh Sneferu was one of the great kings of Ancient Egypt's Old Kingdom, and his children would go on to become one of the great overachieving families of the Old Kingdom. Sneferu built three stone pyramids, but his son Khufu would go on to build the biggest pyramid ever - the Great Pyramid on the Giza Plateau. His other sons were viziers, soldiers, priests and administrators and his daughters married powerful men and gave birth to future pharaohs and queens.
