Many believers (and of course unbelievers) have assumed that reading the Bible is a smooth ride. Though, what is true is that we may not agree on the very basic issue of reading the Bible. You may know that there is a New and Old Testament contained in the Bible, but did you know there are sub-divisions within each of the Testaments of the Bible?

The New Testament has 27 books in all. We will examine how each of the 27 books of the New Testament are arranged and categorized within the Bible.

Paul, called "Saul" prior his conversion, studied under Rabbi Gamaliel (Acts 22:3). Paul was a zealous Pharisee that initially persecuted the Christian Church (cf. Acts 7:58; 8:1-3; 26:9-11). After his conversion by Jesus Christ (Acts 9:3 ff.) Paul would become the preeminent teacher of the Church and missionary. It was under Nero's reign that St. Paul was executed, c.68 A.D.
