Based on a true story. A family is terrorized by some ghosts that reside within their farmhouse. Although of them are friendly, there's one in particular that wants them all dead. Unfortunately, the family can't afford to move, but they're able to hire a pair of paranormal investigators to help them in their hour of need.

The whole house was so spooky even when we tried to light the fire you could feel someone blow out the match each time you tried to light it. If you put stuff down you would see it move.
They would take your stuff and hide them from you and move stuff on you ...

I just had a quick look at my review of “Paranormal Activity”, published in November 2009. I seemed to remember I was a little too nice to that movie, but apparently, I wasn’t. I thought it was a really boring, unscary movie, and I haven’t changed my mind since. It was a movie in which nothing at all happened, and then at the end, a woman is dragged out of her bed by an invisible ghost. Annoying movie. Irritating. But it made lots of money, and not totally unexpected, here’s a sequel - or rather, a prequel.
