Caring for the elderly is one of the biggest challenges that anyone may have to face. I have done it for pay and I have done it for love, and I can say that the amount that you get paid is not near enough compensation for the high stress, level of difficulty, or the bad press that caretakers often receive.

There's many types of abuse. Financial, Physical, Sexual, and Verbal.

However, I will discuss Physical. In 2010 senior abuse was on the rise. More than

40% of seniors were abused by their caregiver. In October 2010 Nancy Grace

aired a caregiver abusing a 91 year old female. The caregiver had cared for the

senior for 8 years. The caregiver was caught by a web cam. Can you believe

this? It makes one wonder how many years had the abuse been going on?
