This is another recipe that goes with the traditional "Italian quick recipes for working families looking for valuable time at the dinner table"
Things You'll Need:
1 box of linguine Barilla
4 tablespoon of olive oil
1 garlic clove
3 lg. portobello mushrooms
8 slices of prosciutto cut in 2" pieces
1 1/2 cup of heavy cream
5 oz. of peas
teaspoon of salt and pepper
half handful of parmesan cheese
Step 1
Heat a large saucepan of water for the linguine, adding a handful of salt, add pasta and cook as directed from the instructions, try to make it "al dente" not too soft, not too hard just a little bite to it.
Step 2
Meanwhile, in a skillet pan, heat the olive oil and add the garlic sliced. Let it become golden and be ready to add first the peas, and second the mushrooms.
Step 3
Let it cook for about 10-15 minutes. After that add the prosciutto and stir until cooked. Add the heavy cream, little salt (taste first) and pepper let it cook for about 2-3 minutes.
Step 4
Drain the pasta with a colander, make sure the water is all gone put the pasta back in the pan and poor the mix from the skillet pan into the pasta pan adding the parmesan cheese, have the plate ready and enjoy
