Anyone with a home office, computer or kids in need of school supplies is most likely familiar with a store called OfficeMax. The company was founded in April 1988 and the first OfficeMax store opened in Cleveland, Ohio in July of that same year. The superstore chain now has over 900 locations in the United States and Mexico with just about every kind of office supply item you’d ever need from electronics, furniture and software to post-its and pencils.

There has been strong growth among black people in America when it comes to use of the Internet. Yet African-American adults are still far behind their peers in other ethnic groups. This surge in Internet use has been driven by women in the black community. Black women have embraced Internet business with a passion and have no problem whipping out their debit cards to spend. What is it that the African American man in general finds unattractive about the Internet?

The entire idea of the American dream is to be able to do better in life then the cards you have been dealt, just like in poker you are dealt your cards then after looking at them you have the chance to exchange your bad cards for better ones. The ability for a child from poor family to be able to get a good education and to make more of himself then the generation before him did.
