There I was lathering myself (careful!) and luxuriating in the pleasant smelling foam of the modern soap. As the bubbles swirled around and drifted off in the water droplets, I began to wonder about the history of soap. Such is the effect of the uncommon history of common things topic, I can’t be anywhere without contemplating the ‘history’ of every darn thing, it's like a virus. And I am infected.

For a change I was able to watch The Bold And The Beautiful earlier today so this would be my weird babbling about today's episode that aired on 12/29/10. It is nice to see Andrea Evans back on my screen although I would love it if Passions was still on. Boo not another one. The UK media is full of it at the moment. The celebrities lined up for the 2011 Dancing on Ice series has finally been revealed! The new series is due to begin on 9 January 2011 on ITV 1. See you there!!
