One woman writer feels that women should put much empahsis when it comes to their outer appearance in order to be accepted into the professional world that is dominated by men who can be fat, bald , wrinkled and care less about designer labels.

The usual thoughts about Filipino maids is that they belong to the poorest families back home and they have poor education that is why they apply as domestic helpers in Hong Kong. But people are not aware that behind the domestic helper tag is a person who is highly educated who could qualify to become a top executive but due to lack of opportunities, she was forced to leave home and find better opportunities overseas.
