I often use URL shorteners when posting on social media (some social media sites like twitter automatically shorten long URLs). There are some applications that will post and shorten URLs for you on your social media accounts.

If you are a social networking addict you will probably have heard of Instagram and if not, you must have been hiding under a rock since October 6th 2010, when the website was first created by Kevin Systrome and Mike Krieger. Millions of people around the world now use Instagram on a daily basis, as a way of documenting their life through uploading photos.

So, we’ve had cell/mobile phones for making calls and texting, phones that connect you to the internet, phones that have radios in-built, and more recently phones that will allow you to watch movies so where do we go to next?
