Kerala is a beautiful state in the Indian subcontinent which is wedged between the Arabian Sea in the West and Western Ghats. Kerala is famous for its natural greenery and peaceful atmosphere which attracts visitors from every corners of the world.

The "backwaters" region — an extensive network of interlocking rivers, lakes, and canals that centre on Alleppey, Kumarakom, and Unnamed — also see heavy tourist traffic.
