Finally, it looks like the WWE will have an all female wrestling show.'
Kinda.
Season 3 of WWE NXT will be all FCW Divas and rookies.
Allegedly SyFy was ready to pull the plug on the show because it was getting lower ratings than ECW had during it's run.
But someone figured out.....
"Hey...let's use beautiful women!"
Wow, you guys are quick.

The women of WWE wrestling, the WWE Divas featuring Kelly Kelly, Layla, Melina, Jillian and more.
Women's wrestling goes all the way back to the late nineteenth century "women's wrestling championships" and Josie Wahlford.
The sport progressed and went through women like Laura Bennet, Mary Harris, Cora Livingstone, Mae Weston and Ada Ash.
Female wrestling then moved out of the sideshows and into legitimate venues with women like Clara Marie Mortensen, Midred Burke and June Byers.
Then later we had the Fabulous Moolah and wrestling began to become popular on TV.

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 should be coming out in October of this year, but the question I have is what Divas will be in it?
The game boasts 60 WWE superstars on the roster, but except for two, we dont know what female wrestlers will be on it.
The two we do know about are Maryse and Mickie James, since they are in all the promo shots.

After 2002, the now WWE entered what a lot of wrestling fans consider the "dark days".
Oh the popularity of the Divas kept going up to be sure, but a lot of these new women came from model agencies, swimsuit magazines and of course...The Diva Search.

But the WWE didn't totally turn it's back on real wrestling.
On the June 30, 2002 edition of Monday Night Raw, Gail Kim debuted and she promptly won a seven-woman battle royal in Buffalo, New York for the WWE Women's Championship.
This made Gail the first woman of Korean descent to win the WWE Women's Championship belt.
