I love home theater sound! It's so realistic.

If I just close my eyes and listen to the sound coming from a home theater system I could almost feel I am in a movie theater.

However I would cringe if I have to set up a home theater system by myself. There are so many speakers, front, back, center, left, right ... etc and the countless wires dangling on them.

Isn't there something simpler?

Actually there is.

I got the Samsung HW-C450 AudioBar and when you crank up the power, you get that sound effect which comes from a home theater system.

It is so simple to use. Just connect the TV audio output to the audiobar and plug in the power. That's it!

The Samsung HW-C450 AudioBar Home Theater System has only an audiobar and a subwoofer.

It is a 2-channel system with a total of 6 speakers on its bar. The total rated output power is 280 W.

I didn't mount it on the wall but placed it on the TV table.

The subwoofer is connected to the audiobar wirelessly. So no wire on the floor.

It took me just a few minutes to set up and I was ready to watch a DVD movie.

The audiobar has touch controls. There are seven sound modes:

The Smart Volume function maintains the volume to a reasonable constant level.

The Sync function allows you to synchronize the audio with the video output.

Sound Performance

When I first heard the sound from Samsung HW-C450 AudioBar I was pleasantly surprised at the power.

It was quite loud. Of course it does not compare to home theater system with 7 speakers and 2000 W output but it does a pretty good job.

So if you are looking for a simple sound system but with powerful surround sound, the Samsung HW-C450 AudioBar might be just for you.
