It is a love story of one of my close friend. He is now twenty five, and he tied the knot with thirty year old girl. His love story begins two years back. I think, it may be two years back, he fell love with a
girl who was older than himself.
As days went on, they fell in love, and ultimately decided to marry each other. Their journey of love story went up to two years, and recently they get married, and started their new life. Earlier, their family members objected this proposal, but they have no choice other than accepting as they stick to their firm decision. They are now leading happy life.
Time has changed as well as practices. Marriages are no longer being simply a selection of life partners. Instead, now they are their mere choices. At a time when the dynamics of marriage are changing rapidly, youngsters are experimenting with their lives. As a result 'cougar' relationship is catching up rapidly among them. Some people opined that love knows no age, love has no age bar. In some instances it seems real also.
Cougar refers to a romantic relationship between a man and a woman, whereas woman is romantically involved with a much younger man. Films like "The graduate', "Wake up Sid' where the script was based on the same theme hit the screen earlier got good response from the audience.
Even in India, the trend is becoming common, and has been around for some time now. Indian sensibilities are not seems to be conflicted with such relationships. In earlier days, people were not talked about this relationship publicly, and hesitate to respond it. But, now they are coming out publicly. So far, many celebrities have adopted this relationship and living happily. We can see the so many successful cougar marriages.
