Great article. I never heard of a connection to leg cramps and lack of calcium or magnesium. I always thought of potassium. Thanks!

I always thought leg cramps were due to a depletion of salt as well.
Most people get leg cramps
Most people get leg cramps due to not drinking enough water, or they don't have enough calcium, potassium or magnesium in their diet. Salt is a factor too.
I noted that when I have leg cramps at night I get up and go to the kitchen to drink an 8 oz glass of milk. It has everything I need; calcium and salt.
