Some people don’t wash fresh strawberries before storing them. Others may wash them but dry them carefully after, before putting them in the fridge.
Remove crushed strawberries or strawberries which show signs of bruising. Strawberries which show signs of bruising or moisture may be spoilt.
This helps to slow down spoilage and the growth of mold.
