The Globe Theatre in London was first built for Shakespeare to be able to perform his play. It was destroyed and only recently the foundation was found when a construction firm tried to built a multi story office block. Luckily, the original plan was still kept in Stratford-on-Avon and they were able to rebuilt the theatre in its original style. The experience to see a play there is unbelievable and unforgettable. It gives you the feeling that you were back in the 1600. The atmosphere is such that you always look around wondering if you are not tranported back to Shakespeare's time.
