When you love something as much as I do, passion carries you along sometimes. I have a great love for the Orcas of San Juan Island and although we had traveled there countless times and seen them each and every time, I had a longing to show them up close and personal to our middle son who is extremely visually impaired/legally blind.

In order to accomplish this, I booked us on a whale watching tour that was going to San Juan Island and had great hopes of Patrick being able to see up close what we had seen so many times. However, it turned out to be a typical Lucille Ball-like adventure for the both of us anyway!
