Verizon Wireless Support Help Desk - Do They Stink

I am not one to have much luck with level one customer support especially if it has the word "Verizon" in front of it. Verizon internet never was really all that great at resolving problems unless of course 'rebooting' my computer is the solution to everything, then they are geniuses. That said, since Verizon Wireless is not Verizon Fios I figured I'd give them a try and ask them about muting the tone my Samsung Reality Cell phone touch pad makes. Not Always the Best Of Luck With Verizon Wireless Customer Support Service 4 years 35 weeks ago: I've been struggling with one small nuance on my Samsung Reality cell phone.
I figured I'd check with Verizon Wireless customer support. Their service isn't always the greatest (long waits in their stores comes to mind) but I figured I'd try to email them.
Not much luck.
