The Peacoat or Pea Jacket will definitely make you think of sailors or merchant marines because they were actually the first to wear this little navy number. The original Peacoat was adorned with eight buttons with anchors etched in them. The style was double breasted wool and were always navy in color.

The Peacoat has been around for more than 200 years and therefore proves that a good fashion design will never fade.

The traditional navy wool coat has come a long way and can be in seen in just about every fabric, color and/or pattern. The Peacoat is a classic piece and should definitely be in every girls closet.
