It seems that these resourceful Viking sailors used sunstone crystals to navigate, and by holding one of these sunstone crystals up to the sky, they could always find the position of the sun in the sky and then successfully plot their course

In the late 1980s, I read a review of Jefferson Richard’s “Berserker” in Fangoria. I don’t remember what it said, what they thought of it -- they were probably not very positive -- but during those years, I was still very fascinated by all the unknown horror movies released on video in the States. This was before the Shot On Different Video Formats Boom and the tidal wave of direct to video-movies. The majority of the movies were still shot on film, most of the time on 35mm -- and sometimes even the most obscure movies played theaters. Did “Berserker” open theatrically in the U.S.?

Denmark is on the southern tip of the the Scandinavian countries. Surrounded by sea but on the very south bordering Germany. The climate is mild and moist and it is a flat country with a few hills reaching 150m. It is a very prosperous country. Denmark had a mainland which is a peninsula called Jutland and 500 islands. The Danes are descendant from the the Vikings who terrorized the other countries.
