Today, I logged-in to my Second Life Marketplace account to find a Technical Announcement from Linden Lab. For something listed under Technical Announcement, this one is a Non-technical Announcement which, I think, is kinda ironic. The Non-technical Announcement was a call to merchants who wish to Apply for the Direct Delivery Beta Program.

There is an abundance of Free Items for both New and Old users in Second Life. In my early days way back in 2007, I was a regular visitor of various Freebie Dungeons or Free Item Areas. My inventory back then was filled with items from all the Freebie places I visited. I was also able to start my own small Freebie Place but I stopped giving them away after learning that many of these so called FREEBIES were stolen.

It looks like Singularity Viewer is getting some following which is good because people should know that the Phoenix Viewer is not the only alternative Second Life viewer available to them.
