Among the many Memorial Day events this weekend in Rhode Island is a Walk in the Woods at Blithewold Mansion, Gardens, and Arboretum, Bristol, RI. Blithewold was the original home of Mr. and Mrs. Augustus Van Wickle of Hazelton, Pennsylvania coal-mining wealth. Mrs. Van Wickle was a talented horticulturalist and gardener.
