Global warming’s impacts can add another victim to its list, with international peace and security threatened by a changing climate, as the “unholy brew” causing security vacuums must be addressed by all countries, the United Nations (UN) warns.

I just don't understand why so few people seem to care about their effect on the environment. If we continue to destroy our planet's ability to support life, we won't be able to live either. The current state of the the planet's oceans indicate an impending mass extinction, and, of course, it is all our fault. Global warming and pollution are destroying our oceans and pushing them to the brink of a mass extinction of marine life, the likes of which haven't been seen for tens of millions of years.

Greenhouse gas emissions have risen to a record level in 2010. That's right; last year we have caused the highest carbon output in history. According to scientists, this drastic rise means that the goal of preventing a temperature rise of over 2 degrees Celsius (the threshold for "potentially dangerous climate change") is now nearly impossible.
