Harp Seal Pups start out as the cutest fur balls, but their color doesn't last for long.

These fur balls are actually born yellow, weigh around 25 lbs (11.3 kilo), and are 3 feet (91 cm) long. After a couple of days the coat turns pure white, and in 2 weeks from birth they will weigh over 75 lbs (34 kilo). It only takes 18 days for them to completely molt their white coat, and trade it for a silver one with gray markings.
