I don’t know how you feel about this, but it makes my internal organs curl.

How so called serious news broadcasters/networks (CNN,BBC, etc) can present their ‘business news’ updates by looking at what the global ‘markets’ are doing and little else, is beyond me.

Because these ‘markets’ they are talking about are nothing more than casino capital, speculative, confidence driven – or not – false indicators of anything even vaguely representing a real, productive or useful market. That being, a market where real products are made by people and sold to buyers depending on ‘real’ demand.

What with European leaders about to make an obvious and crucial mistake – they should know better! – our Goodbye Time Traveler feels he has no choice but to go ‘Back in Time’ and try to stop ‘a historic blunder of epic proportions’ from being made in the first place.
