The parents of Tyler Clementi, the young man at the center of the Rutgers suicide case, have asked for leniency in punishment for the two students accused of cyber-bullying in the incident. While Jane and Joseph Clementi do support the case being prosecuted, they show a remarkable amount of clemency in their wish that the students involved do not serve “harsh punishments.”
