PUNE: City-based amateur astronomy club Khagol Vishwa has initiated a project entitled 'Star Count', wherein astronomy enthusiasts will study light pollution in Pune city, Pune rural, Pimpri-Chinchwad and the region within the 70-km radius around the city. The survey will begin on Friday and conclude on April 10. Every area in the city will be studied for light pollution as part of the international month of astronomy.
