Different charity events and some NGOs are giving hands to protect the Elephants' life in Thailand. It is mainly to benefit Elephant conservation in country but sad to know that;

Thailand’s elephant population has decreased over the years and it’s now believed that only 1500 wild elephants still roam free in Thailand and there are only 3600 domesticated elephants left. Unfortunate street accidents and abuse have taken the lives of many of Thailand’s elephants through the years.
