Sea Isle City New Jersey is the site for the Polar Bear Plunge. People actually pay a small fee to jump in the frigid, ice cold, Atlantic ocean. Brrrr, I seriously have a hard time standing a luke warm shower and people jump in that freezing water sometimes year after year.
Even if you don't like swimming in the Ocean in the winter time, you can still enjoy Sea Isle's Polar Bear plunge by watching and doing the festivities. Sea Isle City, New Jersey draws a large, single, population who loves the night life in the evening and recovering on the sandy beach during the day time hours. One question families might be wondering is if Sea Isle City (SIC), NJ would be fun if the little ones came along or should they leave their brood at home and just make it a parent only event?
This is a great question. If you are looking to pack up the family for a long beach vacation you don't want to step into your summer rental and find out that there is nothing for the young ones to do.
