Isaiah Zagar has been creating murals in the Philadelphia area for decades. You may or may not heard of Zagar but if you frequent the South Street area you most certainly have seen his work as a muralist.

If you walk along South Street there are plenty of alleyways and building facades that bear his mark. Zagar specializes in creating mosaic artwork. His mosaics consists of materials you'd often find discarded from old construction sites. He often uses jagged glass, mirror, tile and a variety of other assorted recycled goods to make very profound art.

PMA or Philadelphia Museum of Art is a very impressive museum. You can find all kinds of inspiration at museums and PMA is one of them.
The inspiration you are looking for can come from strange places. Of course artists can be inspired by galleries they visit, but those looking for a new Tattoo design can be too. I went recently to this Philly museum with a friend who is a big fan of tattoos and said he found some ideas right there (in the Renaissance art sections) at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
