You may buy any of the different Linksys wireless routers, but the procedure for setup of all models is the same. Let us see how to connect a wireless router. Insert the other end in to any of the ports on the Linksys router, which are usually marked by the numbers – 1 to 4.

Then open the web browser window on your computer. Type in the address or copy paste - 'http://192.168.1.1' into the address bar and hit the enter or return button. Immediately, the configuration page of the router settings will appear and you will be asked for your log in name and password.
