This lovely young lady is female mixed martial artist Miesha "Takedown" Tate.
Miesha was born on August 18th, 1986 in Tacoma, Washington.
She is five foot four inches tall and weighs in at 134 pounds.
Miesha is not only trained in MMA, but submission wrestling as well, which really is part of MMA when you think about it.
And she is without a doubt the most popular female mma fighter online at the moment.

Miesha was on the boys' wrestling team in high school and from there she won the high school women's state championship and went on to win nationals at the World Team Trials in the 158lb division.
Later, she won a silver medal in the FILA Grappling Championships.
(In case you dont know what that is, FILA is the Fédération Internationale des Luttes Associées also called The International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles is the governing body of international amateur wrestling.
Miesha then moved from wrestling to MMA when she joined a MMA sport club and started her mixed martial arts training at Central Washington University.
The club was run by her boyfriend and trainer, Bryan Caraway.

The best female MMA fighters in 2010 with Miesha Tate, Cristiane Santos, Marloes Coenen, Sarah Kaufman and more.
2010 was a pretty good year for female mixed martial arts.
There were a lot of matches between top ranked opponents, some promotions held tournaments for their womens titles and maybe the women are beginning to win some begrudging respect from MMA fans that thought women had no place in MMA.
Well maybe with the exception of UFC president Dana White who still says that women will "never" be in the UFC.

This lovely young lady is female mixed martial arts fighter Mika Nagano.
Mika was born on December 29th, 1983 in Gifu, Gifu, Japan.
She's five foot three and weighs 114 pounds.
Mika's nickname is "Future Princess", and by the pictures, you can probably tell why.
I know it's been awhile since I have done a female MMA fighter here.
But you know they are fit, because mixed martial arts training can be just as grueling as training for fitness or bodybuilding.
So is Mika more than just a pretty face?
