A system called BrianPort research is to let the people with visual and balance problems cut the sensory organs of their corrupt and instead send their information to the brain through the tongue. Now, a company called Second Sight has received FDA approval to begin U.S. testing of a retina implant system that gives blind people a limited level of vision.
